At animovel, we have been manufacturing and developing furniture since 1958. For over 60 years, we have stood out as one of the main drivers of innovation and production in the Portuguese furniture sector.
We create and design versatile and innovative collections, in partnership with several renowned national and international product designers. We create elegant and functional environments.
It was this pioneering sense of innovation and product development that drove animovel. Today we have about 90 dedicated professionals, in a production unit with more than 8000m2, and with the most advanced technology that this industry knows.
In six decades, it was the entrepreneurial spirit that marked all the advances and developments, in a space that grew in a consistent way, and always focused on the sustainable future of the animovel family.
We use high
quality raw materials, from paints used in the lacquering process, to hardware
from leading brands in the market, which add to the robustness and superiority
of our product.
The ISO9001
certification is an important milestone in the capacity and quality control of
all our products, allowing us to ensure the best after-sales service.
We offer our
customers a wide range of finishes, and also the possibility to customize
according to a wide range of materials at the customer's choice, from the color
of lacquered surfaces to high quality ceramics.
Animovel is a
family business, already in its second generation and involving the entire team
in its business. Customers, stakeholders and the local community are like
family, always considered and treated with care, respect and integrity, because every one of these elements are considered family.
We ensure the
sustainability of our planet for generations to come. Currently, around 70% of
the electricity used in our facilities is obtained through our solar panel
system. In addition, the factory is heated through the use of biomass resulting
from production, and used in such a way as to provide maximum comfort to all
employees during the winter months.
